Edward Colin Duffy was Flight Engineer crew Colin Frederick Penfold DFC RNZAF they were slain in a second operation to Dusseldorf at the Halifax LW640 III C8 J.
Most of the crew flew above the 158th Squadron from Lissett.

Sgt Edward Colin Duffy was with Coling Frederick Penfold. Together they sat in the Squadron 158. Their first joint mission was the attack on Peenemunde (place in Germany). The attack itself consisted of 596 aircraft of which 29 were lost.

The only survivor was Osborne.
