Son of William and Sarah Elizabeth Muskett from St. Helens; Lancashire.

On January 27, 1943, at 20.25, crashed in Sterksel at the pants, an Avro Lancaster bomber I of 97 Squadron, flown by Sgt A. Robinson and towards Dusseldorf. The two gunners, F / S Robert William Rea (20 years, Canadian) and Sgt Ralph Muskett (32), lost their lives.

The five other crew members, pilot Robinson; Flight Engineer Sgt R. Harvey; navigator Sgt C.P. Bigg; bombardier Sgt A. E. Croome and radio operator Sgt J. West, managed to leave the plane by parachute, but were grounded taken prisoner by the Germans. Robinson arrived in Stalag IVB in Muhlberg Elbe rightly Croome in Stalag Luft III in Sagan and the others in Stalag 344 Lamsdorf.
